NORTH SALEM, Ind. - A residence fire in North Salem has resulted in the death of 42-year-old Ginger Stultz.

The North Salem Fire Department was dispatched to a residence fire Saturday evening on South Broadway Street.

A media release said additional departments were called in to assist in the incident.

Within seconds of entering the residence, crews found Stultz in her bedroom, the release said..

Crews performed CPR on the scene and she was transported to Hendricks Regional Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Crews had the fire under control within 30 minutes of their arrival.

Stultz worked for Danville Public Schools and leaves behind three children.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
