INDIANAPOLIS - An early morning fire destroyed a carport at the Eagle Point Apartments on the city's northwest side Tuesday.
Pike Township firefighters said the fire sparked about 5:30 at the complex near 46th Street and Interstate 465.
When crews arrived, the carport was engulfed in flames. The car and the carport were destroyed, officials said.
Two nearby apartments were damaged, but no one was hurt.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
