ANDERSON, Ind. - Fire engulfed a seafood restaurant in Anderson Monday morning.

The blaze broke out about 7:30 a.m. at the Captain D's restaurant at 2701 North Broadway.

Captain D's is a fast food chain that primarily operates in southern states, serving primarily fried fish and chicken

Fire crews battled the blaze for several hours, but the building was destroyed.

It was not immediately known what caused the fire.

No one was injured.
