INDIANAPOLIS - Three firefighters who were injured while battling a house fire Thursday were treated and released from the hospital.
The fire broke out about 12:30 p.m. at a home in the 2500 block of Southeastern Avenue.
Officials have not released the names of the injured firefighters, but all of the injuries were minor.
Two firefighters suffered heat exhaustion from the weather conditions and received fluids, officials said.
One of the injured firefighters was transported to IU Methodist Hospital with muscular injuries.
He was injured when he fell through a hole in the floor.
A garage fire was reported at the same address Wednesday, officials said.
Arson investigators were called to the scene.
