INDIANAPOLIS - Firefighters were trying to determine if lightning was to blame for a fire in Fountain Square on Monday evening.
Crews were called to Cultural Swirl and Athena’s Fashion Boutique in the 1000 block of Virginia Avenue around 9 p.m., officials with the Indianapolis Fire Department said.
Firefighters saw flames and smoke coming from the top two stories of the building upon arrival.
Investigators were working to determine the cause of the fire.
Officials estimated damage to the building at $200,000. No injuries were reported.
