Law enforcement warns Indy drivers to stay off roads during winter weather

INDIANAPOLIS – Drivers around central Indiana heeded warnings from law enforcement to stay off the roads, and a repeat of Friday night's mess was avoided.

Indiana State Police warned drivers to stay off the roads Saturday night into Sunday morning as another round of icy weather moved through the area.

Saturday night a flash freeze was expected and because of icy conditions Friday night that led to dozens of car accidents, with four being fatal, many people took the adivice of law enforcement

Several counties in central Indiana are still under travel advisories.
