INDIANAPOLIS -- A former candidate for state representative was found not guilty Friday of stalking, forgery and resisting law enforcement.
John Couch was accused of stalking State Rep. Karlee Macer during the 2014 election.
Both were running for state representative in District 92, which is in western Marion County and includes Speedway.

Prosecutors cited seven incidents where Couch allegedly intimidated, threatened or harassed Macer during the campaign.
In making his ruling, Judge Kurt Eisgruber said five of those incidents were at a public forum.
He said the nature, scope and length of the intermittent contacts between the Couch and Macer over the course of a campaign season do not constitute stalking.
