INDIANAPOLIS - A former employee at Indiana University Purdue University-Indianapolis has been arrested in connection with a string of campus thefts.
IUPUI police have been investigating for three months after thousands of dollars in cleaning supplies and other university equipment was reported stolen.
Officers searched the Indianapolis home of former campus facility services employee Michael W. Hawk, 38, they recovered a large number of stolen items, police said.
Hawk was arrested on preliminary charges of theft and possession of marijuana.
