INDIANAPOLIS -- Former Park Tudor basketball coach Kyle Cox pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of coercion and enticement.

Cox, 31, was arrested in January for allegedly having an improper relationship with a 15-year-old female student at Park Tudor.

Court documents say Cox and the teen began talking and texting in August 2015, and that the communications turned sexual in October.

Cox reportedly sent the 15-year-old pictures of his genitals and convinced her to send naked pictures and videos to him.

According to court documents, Cox tried to arrange meetings with the teen to have sex in November and December.

She didn't go to meet him in November, and her parents discovered the text messages and photos in December.

The teen's parents told the school what was happening, and administrators asked Cox to come in for a meeting.

He reportedly reached out to the teen to ask her to lie and said that he was going to be in a lot of trouble if she told the truth.

In January 2016, detectives met with the teen and her parents. Later that month, search warrants were served at Park Tudor High School and Kyle Cox's home.

Cox was arrested on federal charges on February 4, 2016.
