INDIANAPOLIS - A former Greenwood High School teacher caught having sex with a student has agreed to a plea deal.
Under the terms of the agreement, Timothy Guilfoy would plead guilty to two counts of felony child seduction.
Other charges would be dismissed and he will face an eight-year sentence, with five years in the Indiana Department of Correction and three years on probation.
Guilfoy, who taught physical education, was found naked in his truck with a 17-year-old student in March. He eventually resigned from his position.
A hearing on the plea deal is set for Oct. 7.
