Four-hour standoff in Noblesville ends with suspected shooter in custody

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. - A Brownsburg man was put in police custody Saturday after an early-morning standoff in Noblesville, officers confirmed.
The Noblesville Police Department said at roughly 4:50 a.m., officers headed to 1265 Harrison St. on a report of a person firing at least two shots from a gun outside the residence. Police said when they arrived, they made several attempts to contact the person who had fired the shots, who had reportedly re-entered the home at 1265 Harrison.
Officers said after more attempts and no response, the Noblesville/Westfield Police Departments’ Emergency Services and Crisis Negotiation Units were called to the scene to help.
After several hours of negotiations, police said the suspect, Levi T. Harrison, 33, agreed to surrender at roughly 8:45 a.m. He was arrested and transported to Riverview Hospital for a medical check.
Police said they cannot give out information yet as to whether Harrison faces any charges.
