JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. -- Franklin Community Schools will be closed Friday after administrators received a threat of a "serious nature."
On Thursday, Franklin Community High School was placed on a "code yellow" lockdown due to a threat, and all after-school activities were canceled.
FCHS has been placed on a code yellow lockdown. Exteriors doors are locked, however, all students are safe & business as usual inside.

The lockdown came on the same day as Plainfield and Danville schools closed after threats were made against the school, and one day after a possible threat was found at Franklin Community High School inside a boys' restroom.

Two Danville High School students were arrested for threats made Wednesday. More threats were made online in a separate incident against a Plainfield High School student. The suspect making those threats is still sought by police.
