WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. - An Indiana man was killed in a crash involving a SUV and two tractor-trailer trucks in southern Kentucky.
Kentucky State Police said Tyler L. Armacost, 27, of Franklin, Ind., was killed when he lost control of his SUV, ran through the median, struck one truck and then was hit head-on by the other. Armacost was driving north out of Tennessee and the crash occurred between the state line and Williamsburg, Ky.
Investigators said snowy weather conditions played a factor in the cause of the crash. Huge snowflakes were falling, impairing driver's visibility late Monday afternoon and Interstate 75 was slick when the crash occurred, Whitley County Coroner Andy Croley told WKYT-TV in Lexington.
One trucker had minor injuries and the other wasn't hurt.
