INDIANAPOLIS - Hoops fans scored free tickets to see the Indiana Fever hit the hardwood Friday in game three of the WNBA finals.

Indiana Pacers players Danny Granger, George Hill and Paul George and Coach Frank Vogel bought 4,000 tickets for Friday night's game to be given away to fans.

Thousands of fans waited in longs lines at Bankers Life Fieldhouse early Thursday to get their hands on the hot deal.

"I think that's great. I think that's a good way to help out the community for some people who can't afford the tickets," one Fever fan said.

The line for tickets wrapped around the Fieldhouse.

"(The line) went really fast.  I've been here about 45 minutes. Once the line started moving, we got in real good. We'll be there rooting (for the Fever) Friday. Go Fever!" one fan said.

The next two games will be played at the Fieldhouse on Friday and Sunday.

Fever officials said Friday's game is a near sell-out.

A pep rally was held at noon in the food court of the Circle Centre Mall.
