Gas leak prompts hours-long evacuation in Lebanon

LEBANON, Ind. - A gas leak in Lebanon prompted an hours-long evacuation of a residential area Thursday morning.

Everyone in a one-block radius of 921 Campbell St. was instructed to evacuate to Harney Elementary, police said.

Officials estimated repairs would take two to four hours.

Police said the leak was caused by a utility crew working in the area.

No injuries have been reported.
