GREENFIELD, Ind. -- A jury has found 31-year-old Matthew Wagoner guilty of the murder of his 1-year-old daughter, Zoey.
Emergency crews were called to the Wagoner's home in May 2015 on a report that Zoey had fallen off a bed and wasn't breathing.
An autopsy later showed the infant had multiple blunt force injuries inside and outside of her body, and healing breaks to bones in both of her arms.
The pathologist who performed the autopsy told police Zoey's injuries were consistent with someone "stomping" on her.
Wagoner's wife, Jessica, is scheduled to face trial next month on the same charges.
