GREENSBURG, Ind. - An 18-year-old Greensburg woman has been arrested after police said she falsely claimed she'd been abducted.

Tina A. Dixon, 18, called 911 Monday night to report she had been abducted near the Greensburg Walmart on Freeland Road.

She said two men in the truck touched her inappropriately before dropping her six miles north of Greesburg on State Road 3.

Police said they later determined Dixon's story was fabricated.

She was arrested Thursday on a preliminary charge of false reporting.

Dixon's report came shortly after a 13-year-old Greensburg girl told police she was forced into a truck and fondled as she walked to school.

The girl told police two men in the truck fondled her through her clothes before dropping her off in the same spot.

The driver in that case was described as white, in his 50s, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a big stomach, brownish gray hair with a goatee.

The passenger was described as white, in his 50s, more than 6 feet tall with a bald head and mustache.

The girl said the truck was a shiny black Dodge pickup with a loud exhaust.
