INDIANAPOLIS - Two people were hospitalized after gunshots were fired into a car on the city's east side early Saturday, Indianapolis Metro Police confirmed.
The shooting was reported about 5 a.m. near the intersection of 30th and LaSalle streets, just a few blocks down from Sherman Drive.
Several police cars blocked the intersection and the victims' car remained at the scene.
The victims were taken to Eskenazi Health Hospital, but the extent of their injuries was not released.
