55-year-old man dies after leaving road, crashing into parked delivery truck in Hamilton County

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. -- A man is dead after he lost control and crashed into a parked delivery truck early Wednesday morning. 

The crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of State Road 19 and 266th Street in Arcadia. 

Deputies with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department were called to the scene after witnesses said they saw a car leave the road and go over an embankment before crashing into a parked delivery truck at the Casey's on the northwest corner of the intersection. 

The driver, identified as Boyd Morris, 55, was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured in the crash. 

The accident remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department.
