FISHERS, Ind. -- A Good Samaritan helped a driver in Fishers avoid disaster.
The Fishers Fire Department says someone was driving a BMW off of 96th Street last Friday and didn't know their car was on fire.
Investigators say the driver of the BMW noticed another driver trying to get their attention.
The Good Samaritan told the driver that the car was on fire, and the person was able to get out of the vehicle unhurt.
Flames then overtook the BMW and firefighters say the blaze destroyed the car.
There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
