FISHERS, Ind. -- With days to go before the new IKEA opens in Fishers, Indiana, some dedicated shoppers have already started camping out.

IKEA is giving away merchandise to the first few people in line when the store officially opens Wednesday morning.

The first 45 adults get a free sofa, in honor of the Fishers IKEA's 45th store. The next 100 will get a free armchair. The first 100 children will get a free toy. And the first 2,500 adults get a random prize envelope, with gift cards inside ranging from $10 to $250, or vouchers for food.

Some people are obviously going for the free stuff, but many people already in line said it's an experience to wait that long.

"I've never done this," one woman said.

If you're somewhat interested in going, but not enough to camp out, you may want to wait until some of the traffic in the area dies down.
