GREENFIELD, Ind. -- Greenfield police say a suspect who has been stealing urns from a cemetery may have struck again.
The person was first seen leaving Park Cemetery in 2016 with 18 urns.
A similar vehicle was seen at the cemetery on Sunday when at least five urns disappeared.
Police say they believe the suspect is from Ohio and travels US 40, looking for cemeteries that contain urns.
The thefts usually take place in older sections of the cemetery where they are less likely to be noticed.
Police say they believe the suspect is selling the metal urns for scrap or repurposing them.
