GREENFIELD, Ind. – A Hancock County hospital is using new technology to help mothers giving birth feel a little more comfortable.

It allows mothers to walk around Hancock Regional Hospital, all while keeping an eye on their baby's heartbeat.

It's called the Monica Novii Wireless Patch System. It tracks the baby's and mother's heartbeat and any contractions the mother has, without keeping her chained to the hospital bed.

Check out the new technology in the video player above.
