Marion hotel clerk in 'grave' condition after weekend shooting

MARION, Ind. - A clerk who was shot at a Marion hotel early Sunday morning has been identified.
Officers responded to a robbery in progress at the Ambrosia Inn, 1615 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, to find a female clerk suffering from a gunshot to the head.
Witnesses told police a black male was wrestling with the clerk before gunshots were heard.
The clerk, later identified as Amy Ginger, 31, was transported to a Fort Wayne hospital.
Police said her condition was "grave" at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Police said the two suspects stole the motel safe.
No arrests have been made.
