INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis International Airport is a busy place, so it stands to reason that items get lost there.

What happens to them? They are put in bins and categorized until someone comes to claim them.

You have about two weeks to reclaim your cell phone, hats, gloves and other items lost at the airport.

If you've misplaced something in the public area of the terminal, on an airport shuttle, or in the parking areas, you can contact Guest Services at (317) 487-7243, Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 9 p.m.  On weekends, hours are 6 a.m. - 8 p.m.

For items lost at a TSA security checkpoint, call (317) 532 - 1900.

If you've lost something near a ticket counter, gate area or on an airplane, contact the airline directly.
