IKEA hosting job fair for new Fishers store

FISHERS, Ind. -- The IKEA in Fishers, just a few months away from opening, is hosting a job fair for potential employees.

The job fair will be Wednesday, July 26 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in two locations, WorkOne Hamilton County at 300 N 17th St. and WorkOne East at 2525 N Shadeland Ave. in Indianapolis.

The open positions include:

  • home furnishings sales
  • customer service
  • safety and security
  • cashiers
  • interior design/visual merchandising
  • facility management
  • warehouse receiving
  • stock replenishment
  • child play area supervision
  • food service

IKEA offers full medical/dental insurance to anybody working 20 hours or more per week, with eligibility for partners and children. IKEA also recently expanded its policy on paid parental leave.

The 300,000 square-foot Fishers store will be at I-69 and 116th Street. The exact opening date has not been announced.
