INDIANAPOLIS - Two men were found fatally shot early Saturday on the city's near-north side, Indianapolis Metro Police Department detectives said.
Just before 1:30 a.m., IMPD officers were called to the 3400 block of North Hovey Street on reports of shots fired. When police arrived at the scene, they found one man inside of a truck and another man near the back of the truck. Both men had been shot and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police identified the victims as 22-year-old Carlos Jefferson and 23-year-old Julius Douglas, both of Indianapolis.
Few details were released about a possible motive or any suspects linked to the shooting.
