INDIANAPOLIS - Three people were seriously injured after a shooting on the city's near-north side early Sunday.
The shooting was reported by medical staff at an Indianapolis hospital after three people suffering from gunshot wounds walked into the emergency room, police said.
Indianapolis Metro Police Department dispatchers said the shooting possibly happened near 33rd Street and Central Avenue.
The three victims were said to be hospitalized in serious condition. Police kept the name of the hospital confidential to protect the victims and to assist officers with the shooting investigation.
