IMPD asking for help in ID-ing robbery suspects

INDIANAPOLIS -- Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are asking for help in identifying two men who are wanted for an attempted strong arm robbery.

The attempted robbery happened near the Phillips 66 at 4060 N. High School Road when one suspect approached him and asked for $50.

When the man said he didn't have any money, the suspect told him this was his block and he would have to pay to be on his block.

The suspect then hit the man 7-10 times.

One suspect is described as a black man wearing a white thermal shirt, black athletic pants and white Nike Air Jordans. The other suspect was described as a black man with dreads, wearing glasses and al black clothing. They got into a black Chevy Impala with another black man driving.
