INDIANAPOLIS - A body was found in the White River on the city’s southwest side Friday afternoon, police said.
The body was found in the 4400 block of West Southport Road, officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said.
Police said there did not appear to be signs of trauma and the body had likely been there for an extended period of time.
Authorities said they would have more information after an autopsy is conducted.
Few other details were released.
