IMPD: Car hit, dragged pedestrian on Indy's west side

INDIANAPOLIS - A pedestrian was critically injured and sent to the hospital early Sunday morning after being hit and dragged by a car on the west side of town, police said.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) said sometime after midnight, a car struck a pedestrian near the intersection of West 10th Street and Tibbs Avenue.
Officers said the pedestrian was dragged for a short distance. That person was taken in critical condition to Wishard Hospital.
IMPD has not identified the victim or the driver yet.
