IMPD: Man killed in east side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS - A man was shot and killed on the city’s east side early Thursday, police said.
Officers were called to the 3700 block of North Shadeland Avenue just before 3:30 a.m. on reports of shots fired.
They found a 41-year-old man who had apparently been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police did not immediately release the victim’s identity.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office said an autopsy was scheduled for Thursday morning.
