INDIANAPOLIS - Two people were found dead in a motel room on the city’s west side Sunday evening, police said. Their deaths have been ruled homicides.
Officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the bodies were discovered about 8:30 p.m. at the Royal Inn in the 3700 block of North High School Road.
Investigators said the victims, a man and a woman, were shot to death.
The victims were later identified as Michael Gilbert, 23, and Elizabeth Hagedorn, 24, both of Indianapolis.
The Marion County Coroner's Office said both of them died of gunshot wounds, with both of their deaths being ruled homicides.
