INDIANAPOLIS – Metro Police have found the person of interest they were looking for after a mother of five was found dead in her west side home.
The woman has been identified as 41-year-old Janet Cook. She was found by one of her young children around 8:30 Friday morning at her Haughville home.
Her body was discovered in an enclosed porch in the front of the home. Detectives said she had been shot.
Investigators were looking for Anthony Buehner, 29, for questioning as a person of interest. He was found in Rowan County, Kentucky, about an hour of east of Lexington. He is being held there on unrelated charges.
Family and friends of the victim confirmed the person of interest is the woman's boyfriend who she had been dating for some time.
