IMPD makes arrest in 2006 rape case
Arrest made after police received DNA evidence

INDIANAPOLIS - Police with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department have arrested a man in connection with a 2006 rape case, officials said.
Authorities said Arturo Estrada-Medina, 38, of Lawrence, was arrested in the 4100 block of Keystone Avenue on April 29.
He was arrested on charges of rape, criminal confinement and strangulation, IMPD said.
Police said this case was assigned for further investigation after DNA evidence was received.
Police located and arrested Estrada-Medina and took him to the Arresting Processing Center.
