IMPD: Missing Indianapolis woman found safe

Nakiesha Robinson, 24, went missing Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS - An Indianapolis woman who was reported missing on Saturday was found Monday morning, Indianapolis Metro Police Department officers said.

Police said Nakiesha Robinson, 24, had been missing since around 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning, but was found safe in the 3300 block of Heather Ridge Drive, IMPD spokesman Michael Hewitt said.

Police said someone reportedly saw Robinson's picture on RTV6, before notifying police on her whereabouts.

Investigators said Robinsion had been involved in an abusive relationship with an ex-boyfriend, but detectives did not say if both incidents were related.
