IMPD officer injured in crash on city's southeast side

INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer was injured in a crash early Thursday morning on the city's southeast side.

The crash happened near the intersection of Raymond Street and Keystone Avenue around 1 a.m. 

The officer was taken to Methodist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle was taken to Eskenazi Hospital. Both people are in good condition.

The accident remains under investigation by police.
