INDIANAPOLIS - An Indianapolis police officer pleaded not guilty in court Thursday to charges of drunken driving.
Troopers pulled over IMPD Officer Ronald Santa near the intersection of Harding Street and Hudnut Boulevard last week after receiving reports of erratic driving.
Santa was transported to the Marion County Jail after failing a field sobriety test, according to troopers.
State troopers charged Santa with operating a vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of 0.10 percent.
Santa's next court appearance will be a pre-trial hearing on Sept. 25.
