PIKE COUNTY, Ind. – A cemetery is not a junk yard.

That’s the message leaders at Indiana’s Department of Natural Resources want to make clear after someone dumped a load of car parts at a rural cemetery in Pike County.

Conservation officers in DNR Law District 7 say they have a few details on a possible suspect but need help pinning down who he is.

Investigators had these details describing the person who did it:

  • A white male
  • About 6 feet tall
  • Roughly 210 pounds
  • Had brownish-red hair
  • Blue eyes
  • In his 30s
  • Drove a regular-cab Chevrolet 2500 truck from the early 2000s, dark green or black
  • Associated with demolition derby racing

The DNR says if you have any tips on this person, you should private message its Facebook page or call 812-837-9536. You can also try reporting what you know anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 317-262-8477.
