MARSHALL, Mich. - Authorities in southern Michigan say that an elderly Indiana man has died in a skydiving accident.
Marshall police say in a news release that the accident happened about 11 a.m. Sunday near Brooks Field in Marshall. The site is about 15 miles east-southeast of Battle Creek.
Police haven't released the man's name or hometown but say he was in his 70s.
The statement says an investigation is continuing and will involve police, the Calhoun County medical examiner's office and the Federal Aviation Administration.
