INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana State Fair officials announced the free concert lineup for the Marsh Free Stage series scheduled Aug.2 through Aug. 18.
Legendary rock band Styx will highlight the line-up of free shows on Aug. 12, along with many other chart-topping acts booked for the event’s 17-day run.
The lineup also includes pop duo KARMIN, rock bands Blind Melon and Vertical Horizon and country duo Montgomery Gentry.
For folk rock fans, singer Matt Nathanson, rockers Theory of a Deadman, and a line-up of 1980s hit-makers Christopher Cross, Orleans and Firefall.
Older pop rock fans will enjoy the “Happy Together Tour” featuring The Turtles, Chuck Negron formerly of Three Dog Night, Gary Puckett, Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere & The Raiders and Gary Lewis & The Playboys.
To top things off, actor-musician Kevin Costner and Modern West will perform on Aug. 8.
All of these shows are free with paid admission to the fair.
