INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana State Police has started its own YouTube channel.
State police have been referenced in many online videos, but now the agency has its own Indiana State Police Information Channel.
The most recent video is a video called "We Always Get Out of Our Car."
The video supports the action of Indianapolis police Officer Perry Renn, who was fatally shot in July when he got out of his car and confronted an armed suspect. An Indianapolis TV station reported a relative of the suspected gunman criticized Renn, saying he could have remained alive if he had stayed in his car, since he could see the suspect had a gun.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty against the man charged with killing Renn.
The Indiana State Police Information Channel can be viewed here.
