INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana State Police and their family members gathered Wednesday to remember Indiana State Troopers and employees killed in the line of duty.
The memorial was held at the ISP Post on Indianapolis' east side near 21st Street and Post Road.
A 21-gun salute, the playing of taps and "Amazing Grace" were part of the ceremony that honored 46 ISP employees who paid the ultimate price.
Among the attendees was the wife of Lt. Gary Dudley who was killed in 2006.
Lt. Dudley helped start the C.O.P.S. fundraiser bike ride that supports the families of fallen officers.
