LOGANSPORT, Ind. -
A Democratic candidate for state representative is suspending his campaign in the wake of his arrest on drug charges.
Kerry Worthington, of Logansport, sold cocaine to a confidential information, police said.
Worthington was charged with dealing cocaine, possession of marijuana and cocaine and reckless possession of drug paraphernalia.
Worthington, a former Logansport councilman, was running for office in District 23. His name will still be on the ballot in November.
Worthington owns Worly's Inn, a Logansport bar across the street from the Cass County Jail.
