INDIANAPOLIS -- A grieving father turned to Facebook to make a plea to whoever broke into his Indianapolis home.

John Bettis wants two iPhones and an iPad back.

The devices contained pictures of his daughter, Savannah, who was killed in a car accident in June 2015.

Savannah Bettis, 18, was a passenger in a car driven by 20-year-old Jesse Hunt.

Hunt's car left the road, hit a guardrail and landed in a ditch.

Hunt survived the crash, but toxicology tests showed that both had high levels of carbon monoxide in their systems.

Exhaust was leaking into the car.

John Bettis said he believes Savannah would be alive today if the car she was riding in had an emissions test.
