INDIANAPOLIS - Hotel workers have settled their lawsuit against a staffing company filed earlier this year claiming that workers were not paid for all the hours they worked and were forced to work off the clock and without breaks, the workers' union said.
Unite Here, the union representing the hospitality workers, said Wednesday morning that the settlement will result in "significant changes in the Indianapolis hotel industry."
Nine Indianapolis-area hotels have been using Hospitality Staffing Solutions.
Unite Here declined to provide specifics of the settlement "because of the confidentiality agreement that plaintiffs signed."
The federal lawsuit was filed in January.
