INDIANAPOLIS - A 20-year-old Indianapolis man has been arrested in the death of his girlfriend's 4-month-old daughter.
Officers were called to a home in the 3600 block of North Euclid Avenue on Thursday after a man called 911 saying a baby was not breathing.
The 4-month-old was resuscitated enroute to Riley Hospital for Children, but later died Saturday afternoon, police said.
Doctors said the baby's injuries appeared to be suspicious.
As a result of the investigation, Jared Tapley, 20, was arrested on a preliminary charge of murder.
An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday morning.
