A 25-year-old man was found fatally shot early Saturday morning on Indianapolis' north side.
Indianapolis police were called to the 2500 block of Bridgewood Court after receiving reports of shots fired.
"When first responding officers arrived, they found an unresponsive male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the street," said Kendale Adams, Indianapolis police public information officer.
Detectives identified the victim as Christopher Roberts of Indianapolis, and believe he may have known his assailant or assailants.
"Investigators are attempting to determine the circumstances that occurred just prior to the shooting," Adams said.
