INDIANAPOLIS - A man was buying a hot dog when he was shot on Indianapolis' east side early Monday, police said.
Officers were called to the intersection of 30th Street and North Arlington Avenue just after 3 a.m. on a report of a person shot.
They found Marcus Murray, 33, lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital.
A hot dog cart vendor told police he was handing Murray a hot dog when he heard gunshots and saw Murray fall.
No suspect information was released Monday morning.
