INDIANAPOLIS - An Indianapolis woman will be sentenced to 30 years in prison in the beating death of her 2-month-old son.
Briana Shelton was originally charged with murder and neglect after her son was found naked and unresponsive in the family's apartment in August 2011.
The Marion County coroner ruled that the infant died of multiple blunt-force traumatic injuries.
Shelton pleaded guilty to neglect in exchange for a 30-year sentence.
